Back in July I went on a day hike in the Harz Mountains. We went in the Selke Valley and basically hiked around the tiny spa town of Alexisbad.
From spectacular views across the Harz Mountains and down the Selke Valley, following tiny forest paths, through a 100-year-old tunnel built right in the rock, and a small waterfall in the end, the hike was full of beautiful places, views and surprises 😍

In addition to the wonderful company that day, exploring the nature has been special to me. Our time exploring the Harz Mountains filled up my energy level. It gave me happiness. It gave me peace 😌
Although it was only one day, it reminded me that even small adventures in nature can have a huge positive impact on my mind. That’s something I tend to forget 🙈
I know that our well-being shouldn’t depend on external factors. However, I strongly believe it can help to feel better.
Therefore, this post is a reminder to myself: I have to spend more time outside, in nature, especially in the forest and in the mountains ⚠️
I also want to use this post to ask you, what does your next (small) adventure look like? 🤔
Let’s inspire each other. Curious what you’re up to. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Love You ❤️
